Enabling LTI Integration From Schoology

The EvaluationKIT LTI Integration allows you to quickly and easily enable an LTI link that will pass users directly from Schoology LMS into EvaluationKIT, without requiring an additional login with username and password. This process requires that the username / login names within Schoology are the same usernames as you upload in your User Upload file within EvaluationKIT.


OPERATIONAL STEPS

  1. To enable LTI for your account, contact EvaluationKIT Support at eksupport@watermarkinsights.com.
  2. Once LTI has been enabled for your EvaluationKIT site, go to Account > Integrations > LTI.
    1. Copy the Consumer Key, Shared Secret and URL fields from EvaluationKIT for configuration within Schoology.
    2. Change the Username Parameter Name to custom_username (or other parameter if it's been customized in your instance of Schoology).
    3. Click Save.
  3. Within Schoology, setup an External Tool with the info copied in the above step:
    1. For Match by, select URL.
    2. For Domain/URL, enter the info from the URL field copied in the above step.
    3. Enter the Consumer Key.
    4. Enter the Shared Secret.
