This article explains how administrators can follow sections in the Watermark Help Center to receive email notifications for new feature releases, news, and product updates.
Overview of Help Center Subscriptions
Administrators of Watermark products have access to the "follow" button in the Help Center. Following a section acts as a subscription. When an administrator follows a Release Notes section, the Help Center sends an email notification whenever a new product update or feature release is published to that section.
Subscribing to Release Notes and Help Center Sections
Follow these steps to subscribe to notifications for product updates:
- Access your Watermark Course Evaluations & Surveys platform.
- Select the question mark icon in the top right corner of the screen to open the Watermark Help Center. Accessing the Help Center while logged in authenticates the user account and enables administrator features, including the follow button, gated technical articles, and ticket history.
- Navigate to the Help Center landing page for the specific Watermark product.
- Scroll to the News & Updates section. The placement of this section varies depending on the product page layout.
- Select Release Notes.
- Select Follow on the right side of the page.
- Select New Articles from the dropdown menu. The comments feature is currently disabled, so subscribing to articles only is recommended.
Subscribing to any other Help Center section uses this same process. The Help Center sends an email notification only when a new article is published in a followed section.
Unsubscribing from Help Center Sections
Notifications can be stopped at any time using one of three methods:
- Select the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email notification, then confirm the selection on the destination page.
- Navigate to the followed Help Center section and select Unfollow.
- Access the Help Center after authenticating, select the profile icon in the top right corner, and select View Activities. Under My Activities, select Following to view all followed sections and articles, then select Unfollow next to the desired item.
